My name is Vasileios and I am about to tell you a few things about my extraordinary journey into wood mystic art.

''Skalizo" is a Greek verb meaning: « I carve on the surface of some material» among other meanings. As a child, I was using this word to describe how to create several hand carved formations such as models, sculptures, statues and figures. So when I decided to open my shop the word instantly engraved my head.

I love wood carving and crafts, as long as I can remember. Wooden reliefs, geometrical carving, abstract wood pendants and necklaces, are some of my favorite hand carved creations.

All these years, wood carving occupation offered me foremost inner peace and a way of seeing things differently.
